January ’23 – Heritage Project

Project Launch

January has been an extremely productive month for the Heritage project! Heritage staff and residents have been working alongside each other to create three proposals.

The first is a proposal to name a road in Luton. The new name will be to represent Mary Seacole’s heritage and legacy.

The second is a proposal to raise more awareness of Heritage within the schools in our local community.

The third is a proposal to name a ward at the Luton and Dunstable hospital after Mary Seacole.

In addition to this, the Heritage staff have also been making arrangements for the next documentary interviews and filming sessions, and planning the Augmented 3D model design.

We have also managed to design our new surprise character that will be joining us next month to help us share Heritage across our community.

Head back over to the main page to look at other months for this project.
