The month of May has been an amazing month for the Heritage Project. We had eight students from America, and Oral Roberts University come over to the UK to get involved in our project. The eight students spent three day participating in the project. They learned the history of the late Mary Seacole, Mary Seacole Housing Association and the heritage of the Desline Stewart MBE, who was the founder of Mary Seacole Housing Association.
The students worked alongside residents at Mary Seacole Housing Association and shared their personal Heritage with each other.
The students and residents spent three days revamping the Heritage garden in Marsh Farm and also creating a new relaxing heritage space at Brantwood road, for people to relax and learn about local Heritage.
