Police Perceptions Research

Working in Partnership with Luton borough Council Fairness task and Beds VERU we were asked to develop a Hypothesis/Assumption based upon the outcomes of Practitioner inquiry research into youth perception of the police. We went on to train a small cohort of young people and/or individuals with lived experiences of multiple disadvantages to complement the MSHA practitioner in the delivery of the curious conversations.

This approach requires significant resources as opposed to group discussion and survey, rather curious conversations illicit a diversity of thought from the findings of these conversations Mary Seacole Housing produced a report and video testimony based onThematic analysisidentifying key correlating comments/ viewpoint and themes.
